a strange telephone

Before I continue to explain, what I experienced with this phone I have to warn you that this article contains several quite rude statements. If you don't like this don't read any further!

6310i - and bluetooth

Bluetooth with this phone is just a pain in the arse. It does not work well - you cannot even sync with iSync - and the worst, the telephone does not offer you an option to send all contacts to an other phone. I really wonder what nokia folks thought when they created the UI of this phone. It just doesn't work as it should. The phone to which I tried to transfer the data was a K700i from Sony Ericsson and it worked extremely well in all areas. And the best - it has the option to send all contacts.

I came to this conclusion when I today tried to transfer all the contacts from a friends Nokia 6310i to his new Sony Ericsson K700i.

one thing...

After all this I tried to use the Nokia Software you can download from their website. First bad thing - its only for windows. Second bad thing - it does NOT work with the phone as expected - it doesn't even discover it.
